CO-Owner and founder
I started my journey as a nail technician in 2018 with nothing but a dream, a passion for creativity, and the desire to make people feel seen and valued. What began as a small personal business, “PrettyThingsEm” quickly grew into a career that brought me deep into the heart of my community.
For two years in a row, I was honored to be named “Siouxland’s Best Manicure/Pedicure”, a recognition that still means the world to me. As my business and vision outgrew my solo space, I co-founded “The Angel Collective” in 2024 with my friend and family member, Andueni Deleon. A space where artists like us could come together, grow, and thrive. In our first year, The Angel Collective earned both “Best Manicure/Pedicure” and Favorite Salon in Siouxland’s Best, all before even hitting our one-year mark.
But at my core, PrettyThingsEm is still about what started it all: connecting with people, bringing beauty to life, and honoring the artistry in every detail. Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning or are just discovering my work, I’m so grateful to share this journey with you.

CO-Owner and Professional Makeup Artist
I’m Andueni, a professional makeup artist and educator with over 8 years of experience helping women feel empowered, confident, and radiant. Originally from Mexico, I’ve spent the last decade building my career and my family here in the U.S., where my passion for artistry and community have come together through The Angel Collective.
As co-owner, I’m proud to lead a space where creativity, care, and collaboration come first. I specialize in bridal, editorial, and event makeup, designing looks that are timeless, personalized, and made to last through life’s most meaningful moments.
In addition to client work, I offer makeup education for both everyday women and aspiring professionals, from self-makeup classes that highlight your natural beauty, to advanced trainings focused on artistry, branding, and building a career with purpose.
At the heart of it all, I’m a wife and mother, inspired every day by the people I love to show up fully in everything I do. Makeup is more than my profession, it’s my therapy, my language, and my way of uplifting others through intentional beauty.

ALFREDO LEPE
I’m a self-taught makeup artist with 7 years of experience and a hairstylist for the past 4. I’ve always loved the way beauty lets me express creativity while helping others feel their best. I joined The Angel Collective in 2024, and it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey so far. I’m currently starting cosmetology school and offering hairstyling classes, something I never thought I’d get to do. I’m a talker, a team player, and I always try to create a space where people feel comfortable, seen, and excited to come back.
BLANCA TOPETE
Hi, I’m Blanca, a makeup artist at The Angel Collective and proud Jalisco native. I’ve been passionate about beauty since middle school and started doing makeup professionally in high school. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English, and I love creating a calm, relaxing experience for each of my clients while highlighting what makes them feel beautiful. I’m so lucky to be part of a team I now consider family. Whether we’re in-studio or on the go, I’m grateful to be part of your weddings, quinceañeras, and special moments.

Hi, I’m Karla, a professional makeup artist with over 7 years of experience in bridal, event, and photoshoot glam. I’ve been with The Angel Collective since the beginning, and this team has become like family. My goal is always to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel confident, radiant, and truly seen. Whether you’re walking down the aisle or getting camera-ready, I’m here to help you feel like your best self. Can’t wait to meet you!

Hi! I’m Jessica, a licensed cosmetologist with 16 years of experience. I was born in California and raised in South Sioux City, where I’ve built a life with my three amazing kids. I’ve been part of The Angel Collective for over a year now and love being in a space that celebrates creativity. I do a little bit of everything, but I specialize in men’s cuts and always bring patience, care, and good conversation to every service.

Hi, My name is Christina, and since 2011 I moved from Mexico to the United States. I married a very hard-working man with a golden heart, with whom I had two beautiful girls; they are currently 8 and 10. One of my passions has been everything related to the beauty industry. I like to look good and help women to love their skin, to help them recognize and admire their own beauty when they look at the mirror. When I feel down or whenever I feel my world is falling apart, I like to refuge in my work as an extensionist and makeup artist. This is my therapy.

What started as a passion project in 2019 has grown into a soulful brand known for handcrafted pieces in sterling silver, gold-filled, and 14K gold. I specialize in permanent jewelry and love creating timeless designs that feel personal and unique.
Born in San Julián, Jalisco, I’m proud to feature artisan-made goods from my hometown while celebrating local craftsmanship here in our community. Every piece tells a story, I’d love to help you find one that’s yours.

We require deposits for all services. All security deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the service.Please remove all make up before attending your appointment.

Please, if you want to cancel or reschedule, contact the artist with whom you made your appointment.
Rescheduling must be made 72 hours before your appointment. Please understand that you will lose your deposit if the appointment is rescheduled, or changed less than 72 hours before the appointment date. (You will only be able to reschedule your appointment 1 time using the initial deposit).

You must arrive on time.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, the artist has the right to refuse service and you will forfeit your deposit along with any other fees. -
Please come nails bare as we don’t offer removals or fills. No deposit for nails is required but a fee of 75% of the base cost for your service will be charged to the card on file for ALL cancellations made within 24 hours of said appointment time.

To keep the space peaceful and safe, we kindly ask that only clients receiving services come to their appointment. Children under 12 are not permitted unless they’re receiving a service.
